Just heard that the staff have been called in for an emergency meeting. Does not sound good.

Guess we will have to wait until 8.00 GMT, the usual time for announcements.

Interesting, there's nothing on the BBC News!

A quick google reveals all with rumours awash.

We can wish for 2 things:

i) Her Maj has decided that Brexit is a massively stupid idea and risks her union, so is binning the whole idea.

ii) She realises that the Royal Family is an anachronism and has no place in modern democracy and is shutting down the family firm.

I suspect one of the minor royals is getting married, or the mad one they keep locked in the loft has escaped....

I heard that they were re-decorating the Palace. Decorators these days expect you to have all the preparation work done so she has probably called everyone round to muck in and help scrape the wood chip off in the dining room. smile

Indeed. Just to mull over as Buck House needs modernisation we are told it has 775 rooms with 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices, 78 bathrooms and 19 different state rooms hurl
