Now I are back... last flight, stepped off the mountain into a 12 foot/second thermal straight up to 5,800ft (cold!) As a 15 year-old I once spent 40 minutes soaring in an open cockpit glider in shirtsleeves at 5000 feet just below cloudbase. My first flight in a Slingsby T21b And a yellow one. That was really bloody cold. That was during the school summer holiday flying from what was Marshall'a aerodrome (now Cambridge International Airport) 25c on the ground, probably 10c under the cloud and a 45knot wind.

We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.
