Hi,
I am looking for a bit of help with this one. I noticed a button on the centre console of a 16v just below the fan/heating controls. I thought it might be an Air Con switch but it does not have the usual snowflake symbol on it. It just has the little white dot but when pressed, a little light comes on below it. The corresponding button on the left is the recirculating button. I believe Fiat list it as "Available". Am I correct in thinking that this is simply a blank switch but you could connect something up to it if needed?
Thanks

When you push the button, there's supposed to be a little sign that lights up: "please do not push this button again."

Mine has a "Snowflake" on it which, when pressed, turns the air-con off and on.

Obviously, your Coupe is not fitted with Air-Con.

So the switch could be used for something else, as you correctly surmised.

You can exchange it for a switch.

Are you serious? It brings on an indicator, but has no functionality?

I would have thought it was a blank, the shape of a switch.

However, I don't have your car.

Sounds exciting! Think of the possibilities!

My 16vt had one of these but had no functionality, not even the illumination of another lamp.

But ripe for development, say for operating an electrically controlled rear sun blind laugh

Yeah, its a bit odd for sure. When you press it, the little green light illuminates below it but it operates nothing at the moment. As the manual says, it is "Available" crazy

I have that button. Its just another reason why the 16vt is the best coupe. Extra buttons that do nothing, others dream of such features.

Living here in the sub-tropics, I'm glad mine works to control the air-con.
