I've received an email to the Club's account regarding a meet some of you could be interested in:
Dear Sir/Madam, We run a very informal Italian Car Breakfast Meet four times a year which may be of interest to your members, and I wonder if you would be good enough to add it to your events page. It is a completely free-to-attend and friendly meet, held on the first Saturdays of April, June, August, and October. On that basis, our final meet for this year will be held on Saturday 7th October. We will then re-start on the first Saturday of April 2018. The event is held at The Departure Lounge Caf, in Alton, Hampshire, starting at 10am. The Caf has a good field which we can use to display cars separately from the regular car park. The address is as below: The Departure Lounge Basingstoke Road Alton Hampshire GU34 4BH The event is open to any Italian made car of any age, and we have had just under 50 cars from classics to modern supercars representing every major Italian marque. There is no need to book, and attendees can simply come along if they feel like it to show their car, chat to other enthusiasts and have some breakfast if they would like to. I hope this will be of interest. Kind regards, Ross

It's only 10 miles or so from home so I may go along.

Spotted this mentioned in last months Auto Italia magazine. They have a regular monthly meet there which often draws 200-300 classic cars of all types, filling the field. We've been a few times as it's local to us, I can highly recommend the food.
We'll certainly be going to this, as new members it will also serve as an opportunity to meet some of you.

Yes 10 am Richard, I shall be leaving home about 9:30 : it's only about 12 miles away.
If you are going M25 then M3, A325, A31, the roadworks on the M3 for the last 2 years are finally complete.
Can I suggest that whoever arrives first mentions to the marshals that there will be half a dozen of us coming and could we parked together please?

Chris had his bonnet up again lol - but to look at codes on startrek (I will post in your other thread) and even Pete showed off what is under the bonnet of his Broomy I was showing Chris the wonders of self-amalgamating tape on electrics, not reminding him what a proper engine looks like, so I think that can be excused Richard.
