I've gone and bought another one......

So my 1st coop, yellow 20vt, 166k,massive history, is up on stands on my garage. Solid but needs finessing around front Eiffel, oil cooler, bay refresh, clutch, alternator and belts

#2 is bockers' laid up Scots green one, 111k, massive lacquer peel, currently still on the trailer but coming off on Tuesday to have some brakes and a slave cylinder added, also wants belts, Clutch, alternator.

So seeing as I have far too much to do as it is I bought another one 😅

This one actually has an mot.....
Djmobi's ink black 20vt, 180k, loads history, lacquer peel on roof, wants a bootlid, back light cups, wheel refurb, belts, clutch, no alternator (!!!), and a turbo which is going on it Tuesday.

The bug has got me!

Always seem to have too many 20VT's to count......

So here's a thing.
I now have some direction with these coop's !!
Upon a comprehensive look over the green one (which had been laid up for years prior to my ownership) it simply wasn't anywhere close to viable to save. A very difficult decision as I try never to break anything. But the end result is that enables 3 x other ones (plus anybody else's) to live on. Yes, 3 x other ones - as I've bought another one.......

My first, the broomy, is in storage awaiting a cosmetic and mechanical restoration.
My second has gone - all saveable bits are here.
My third, the cheap inky one is in use - a few smiles with it - and will be due an mot shortly then put up for sale shortly as a running project/cheap fun for someone.
My fourth, bought from a member, is a sprinty 20vt that's partly track prepped. MOT'd for the first time in years yesterday and will become a track only car once shaken down - tester reckoned it was quite decent - have a cage etc to go in. While that's being developed the yellow one will get its refresh as my permanent road one once i have the space here. So here we go!!
Will need some tuning bits and some bucket seats if anyone knows of any? And if you need any bits....get in touch.

Always seem to have too many 20VT's to count......
