After 3 months of solid hail/snow/rain or stormy weather and large puddles and layers of mud on the small country lanes near why I am covered with field wash - the sun finally came out yesterday.

With the roads drying and 90% of the mud gone I managed to grab a short drive before the rains returned (with a vengeance)

I was keen to - the coupe hadn't moved at all in that time and I found the handbrake stuck on - I confess I must have washed her and put her away without being fully dry.

She was clearly yearning a run out-so I grabbed the small window of opportunity.

She only just about got warmed through-but it was good to have her back out. She needed a short shakedown- rotate the tyres. The discs were positively rumbling with the rust under the pads at ths tart - and it took a lot of clearing to get the rust off and are 75% better. Next time a longer run will sort them out fully.

The suspension and transmission all needed a few hundred yards to settle down to use. She returned to the garage just covered in dust from her hibernation-and some mud from the remaining puddles.

Freezing fog again today....so she remains garage bound. Maybe I should take her out more often come what may...

Hats off to all those dedicated coupe owners who use theirs come wind or rain, or don't have garage parking.

Here's to the sun finally appearing and garaged coupes making a return to the road....there really was nothing like hearing the rumble of the 5 cylinders yesterday with the window down....roll on a trip in search of some sun!

Regards all
