Yes you can. Many years ago when I was at college as a mechanic we took some cars in for work (for no charge and parts supplied) on the odd occasion. Things may have changed, but I doubt it. You would be better going into the college rather than phoning too. Worth a try.

I really wouldn't mind what sort of a job they did, it couldn't be worse than it looks already! But what if that ex-offender lad enrolled on the course, and he used an electric toothbrush to paint your whole Coop with Dulux paint, then used that Scottie spare key to take this Coop for a spin, ended up crashing it into a wall and then used a manual toothbrush to paint the damaged area with watercolour paint? It would look worse then, right?

Try Bracknell and Wokingham college, they do all sorts there including bodywork.
Don't know if they'll work on a private car but no harm asking.

It would look worse then, right? [/quote] What ifs don't worry me! I am not suggesting leaving my Coupe with an ex offender's project, but with a further education college. I think there are classes for the learning disabled at my local one, where they tinker with cars. At the moment though I don't even have the funds to supply the paint, I was just putting the idea out there.
