Centre console has gone brittle and needs replacing. Previous owner was a carpenter - see photo. Brilliant!  Glad to hear she has a MOT, another one back on the road  I like the petrol station photo that usually doesnt happen unless you’re near a car show.

Iainb, no need to replace the centre console, look on here for a how to remove it and then some nail varnish remover and elbow grease and it can be rubbed off. Buff it up and leave it ‘naked’ or respray with plasticoat...did mine a while ago makes the interior much more pleasant (especially if you do the handbrake tunnel too!!)...have fun

Love the picture of the wooden dash. You'd pay a fortune for that in a Rolls  Love the Sprinty / tan colour combo too. Enjoy your new motor. Ain't no sound like a five pot Coupe
