Just been on the phone to an alfa specialist who refused to fit supplied powerflexed lower arms.
I understand about a change in law recently regarding ramifications of failure items with garages.
But the term used was the bushes would eventually work their way out..
Lets discus the main point of powerflex lower arms good or bad.

They just need a simple bolt and washer tapped and screwed into the ends to stop that happening. Easy and well-proven solution.

This is how it should have come out of Torino!

Yes, washer fixed to end works fine. Some people find the ride a bit harder than it is with the OEM rubber bushes. I had them for a couple of years but binned them because they started creaking/squeaking despite still working fine.

Does the handling / turn in improve with the powerflex bushes?

It's a large washer (or disc, if you prefer) around 30-40mm diameter held in place over the end of the bush with a short bolt that screws into a hole drilled and tapped in the arm (at the base of the "A" if you imagine the suspension arm resembling a letter "A")
