Anyone else been following this for the last couple of years?

It's going to debut next month at the Detroit Auto Show.

It looks decent..

Of course, even if it was the most perfect sports car ever, it still wouldn't win over those who are blinded by nostalgia for the previous model.

As a huge fan of the original i've been watching this.

52k+ price tag tho! - Pure madness! - getting very close to a M4 price that (and a M4 has the additional 100bhp! - a 440i would have similar power)

I suppose more shocking is its known its a BMW Z4 underneath - rumoured to be starting at around 30k - or around 48k for the Z4 40I

I really don't like the front end, but the rear looks great. It has a largely grey and black interior and has the stuck on tablet on the dash afterthought. Not a fan.
