FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER - IT LOWERS THE TEMPERATURE OF THE AIR FROM THE TURBO TO THE INTAKE, WHICH INCREASES POWER AND SAFETY OF YOUR ENGINE.

Now turn the caps off and edit them out of your post subject before the mods lock this thread. Capitals = shouting, and we're far too civilised for that

Yep, the coupe has an intercooler as standard, however if you up the boost it will struggle to effeciently cool the boost temps. There's a few options...

The standard I/C is a side mount intercooler, or SMIC. you can fit an uprated SMIC, which seems to be exclusively made by PACE. this is a fair bit thicker than standard and also the ends are made of alloy instead of the original's plastic which can leak boost.

The popular and best way is a front mount or FMIC, which sits in front of the radiator and offers excellent cooling. Drawbacks are you may have to modify your bumper and undertray and bumper for it to fit, and also it's blocking the Radiators area so temps will go up. Most get around this by fitting an uprated Radiator, usually Pro alloy.

A third option is a chargecooler, I'm not too good at describing these things but there's tons of stuff on the web, this works by using an air/water cooling system to cool the boost. Most run this and the PACE SMIC in tanem for best effect.

My book will be out shorty, "Pinin is the next guy croft"

Coopless!
