I will contact Michael Ward and ask for our own Coupe space.

I've just had confirmation that we will have our own allocated area .

There will be camping available for those coming from a distance should they wish to stop overnight.

Full details are still to be finalised.

They have asked that I give them an idea of how many will be going so they can plan spaces so please add your name to the list if you are interested.

We are still awaiting full details from Autoitalia Gary,

The usual form at their events is that they allocate us a specific area and marshals direct cars to the correct place.

So basically just turn up in a coupe!

I'll update the thread when I have more information.

Auto Italia Italian Car Day at Stanford Hall 29th September

Gates open at 8am.
Entrance prices are £10 per adult, £5 per child (5-13 years old), under 5s go free. Please note that there are no advance ticket sales and that it is a CASH gate.

All Italian cars are welcome to park on the main site with special and unusual cars invited to park in front of the main house. All non-Italian cars will be parked in an adjacent car park on the left of the main entrance as used in previous years.

Please note change to camping information: All camping must now be PRE-BOOKED. Please email claire@gingerbeerpromotions.com if you wish to camp the night before; prices are £10 per person. Yurts are also available to hire. £60 for 1 person/£75 for a couple sharing (double bed) and £10 per child, or £20 per head for up to 6 persons sharing. Price includes bed linen or sleeping bags and towels. There are a limited number of yurts available and we will require 5 day’s notice.
We will have a dedicated Italian themed trade village with food (think good coffee, wood-fired pizza, paninis and prosecco) and trade.

We are still taking bookings from car clubs and trade enquiries. Please email michaelward@auto-italia.net for car enquiries and claireprior@auto-italia.net for all trade enquires.

It says gates open at 8am but was wondering what sort of time you are hoping to get there as it’s probably a 2.5 hour drive for us so was contemplating a stay over in a B&B on Saturday night if it’s too early a start?

I was thinking of arriving about 8:30 - 9:00, leaving home around 6:30 as it's a couple of hour drive for me being that bit nearer on the M3.

Sorry to report that we will now not be able to go to Stanford Hall as something else has cropped up to take presidence. Hope to do it next year.

Event has been cancelled due to the weather forecast. Glad I decided not to go up the night before!

The cancellation is due to the inclement weather we have experienced this week and the further rainfall expected over the next few days and indeed on the day itself.

We wanted to give everyone a great Italian Car Day, but sadly cannot compromise the condition of the grounds and risk potential damage to attendee’s vehicles.

A great pity, but as we found out a few years ago, Stanford Hall in the pouring rain is no fun at all.

Shame I planned to go. Now it's plan B for Sunday.

I had a 2 hour drive home, when I got there I was still soaked to the skin and my feet were blue for the next week because the shoe dye had run.

Sorry to read of the cancellation of this event due to rain.

Wish we had that problem here, with most of our State in drought and having had severe bushfires over the last few weeks.

Where I live, on the east coast, we have only had 6.5mm of rain since mid July!!
