Hello, I hope this is the right place to introduce myself

I’ve just bought my first fiat coupe..I’ve mostly owned and restored old Alfa’s but really pleased with my new purchase and looking forward to fettling a few bits and bob ready for the spring.

She’s a black LE, No 102, very good all round condition and mostly original. Drove her up from near Birmingham to Alford near Aberdeen earlier this week. Ran perfectly all the way home and a credit to the previous owners. Few little things to sort I.e running cold, interior rattles and blocked washers etc but otherwise delighted.

Alastair

Welcome and that looks a neat coupe Alastair thumb

Fancy popping down for the Carlisle Christmas bash mid-December? A bit of a hike I know but an excuse for a blast laugh

Thank you for all the kind welcomes - that's her off the road until the spring, looking forward to sorting a few things ready for next year. Hopefully the Scottish Italian Car day 2020, been to a few over the years and be great to meet other Coupe owners on the day.

Amazing what a difference an hour with a screw driver and alan key makes if you pop off the covers and tighten all of the screws and fixings inside the coupe.

Also one side sticky felt pads- attached to the door and side of the cockpit make a real difference. And also one on the grab handles where they rub against the front seats head rest.

Pleasant way to spend an hour- and usually improves the rattles and squeaks no-end!

Nice looking coup btw- I like black- almost as good as the BEST colour (speed red) :-)

Regards

MM

Welcome!

Good looking car smile

Running cold - temp guage is showing low? A new thermostat should sort that.
