Whilst making a 'pig's ear' of parking a guy comes up and says'what's that stealth car?' (presumably because it doesn't have too many badges, apart from the Fiat on the front the fiat coupe owners club badge on the back window!)
As politely as I could muster I said it's a Fiat,
Well you don't see many of them he says,
Well you are not meant to if it's stealth car are you!

Whilst waiting at a set of lights last week there was a pedestrian waiting to cross in the same direction I was going, I could see him looking and wondering. I caught the red light at the next intersection and while I waited he caught up. As I drove off on the green he yelled "What make?", he was surprised when I yelled back "Fiat".

A female car snob friend of mine asked what my new car was. I said a Fiat Coupe and she laughed saying 'A rusty old Fiat?'. Then she parked next to it at the car park and her face changed...her BMW mini looked just a bit ridiculous next to the Babe!

It's great isn't it?

I've had so many of these little things happen over the years and it always put a smile on my face.

How some snobby peoples' faces change as they find out exactly what car it is:

"It's a Fiat..." hehe
"...Coupe..." rolleyes
"...20 valve..." frown
"...Turbo." cry

Years ago after filling up the chap at the petrol station counter said:

'Nice car mate, how much did you spend to make it look that good?'

I replied:

'That's how they rolled out of the factory'!
