In a few months time i intend to get my wheels refurbished,
and would like to get them done in Black or an antheric/grey colour.

Mine are dark too. you will need to change centre caps if you do go down this route. set of LE caps are around £28 from fiat.

I spotted a yellow coop with black wheels at Alton Towers on fireworks night last year. Hopefully this thread will bring you out as i never found out who it was <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

It looked really good btw. I've always thought black wheels make a car look 'hard'. Lotuses look great with them. I don't think it would suit a sprint blue coop though...

Can't help with a yellow Coupe I'm afraid, but here's my Sprint Blue with satin black standard wheels, if it's any good <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.

As said above, Busa's Coupe is the one you need to have a look at. I'm sure he posted some photos recently.

check my profile for some pics of mine, dark rims suit certain colours, not all IMO. Yellow/Silver look great, sprint blue loooks fine

I painted them myself for about 30-40 quid, but they were only really for track use and so I didn't spend a lot of time or effort on them <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. I'm currently having them redone more professionally, but they will still be satin black <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />!

You're right about the scuffs though <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />, hence my choice of powder coating for the new finish, to see if it is more resilient <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.

Reckon i'll get mine done, i really like the look of it now.

I had 3 of mine done for £135. That was refurb, coloured black and tyres off and tyres on. If your going to the pod on Saturday you'll be able to see them.

I'm aiming for 110 quid all-in (shot-blasting and powder coating), although they are also needing a little 'finishing' before I get them coated to make sure that I get a reasonable finish <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.

I put a similar post out not long ago, opinions were generally mixed on the black wheels, but ive decided to go for a dark grey instead of the jet black, will be getting them done next week so will post pics then hopefully
