Hi all. I'm new around here and introducing my new 16v Fiat Coupe Turbo 5 Speed Manual.
I have just purchased it with 4-5 thousand dollars worth of work done backing it up with receipts.
It is a full leather interior with an added sunroof.
It has 169,000 km's on the clock but runs great.
I also currently own an E39 528i BMW with 100,000 kms & an E30 318i with 130,000 kms.
So why did I buy a Fiat Coupe?
The main reason was because of a family member of mine, he is into odd ball cars & purchased a 20V Turbo Fiat Coupe Plus Model in the same yellow but with many extras. Brembo's all around and all of that... he also got a non-turbo 16V Coupe but in red.
It is a bit of a strange car for a 16 year old to own but that is why I love it lol. Only 25 of my model in my country and everyone that sees it, has no idea about it...
PS. does anyone know the official colour code of this?

Welcome to the forum - but go easy on the "oddball" references
Have a trawl around this forum to take advantage of the expertise it has to offer...not sure how it works for you guys over there but if you become a member for a staggering £10 (GBP) p.a. you get access to the lot
Can you post some pics? (use "Attachment Manager")

Jeeez, a bit late on the replies aren't I lads. I've been told I'm a young Fiat Coupe owner. A lot of the older guys don't seem to like a young guy owning a car like this but oh well. Struggling to attach images but it is a Bloom Yellow 16v Turbo. 170,000 km's on the clock.
Hope you guys are still around

It’s OK we maybe in lockdown but we are still about, glad you are enjoying your Coupe, they are becoming more rare to see on the road these days and some spares are becoming difficult to source but we have some great enthusiastic owners and specialist support specialists in the UK that help keep them on the road. Am sure the Coupe will only grow on you the more you drive it

Welcome 16VTurbo NZ Glad to see some young blood coming in to carry the Coupe torch - hope you enjoy your ownership and that it will leave you with fond lasting memories many years hence! Just back from a trip to NZ in Feb. Sadly despite driving both North and South, we never spotted one!
Enjoy.

Thanks heaps mate, Not many at all specialists for these cars here I have found. A lot of Fiat 124's etc but not much for the Coupes at all without being charged an arm and a leg.

Hi 16VTurboNZ and welcome from across "the ditch". Where in NZ are you located?
I am aware of a couple of Coupes here that have come over from NZ, a black 16vt and a yellow 20vt. I have also bought parts for my 16vt from NZ so there are some around. If not, there are a few specialists in the UK and the service is good with bits usually arriving here in 7 days.
You are lucky that Coupes were sold in NZ, unlike here in Oz. That was when Fiat was not represented here from 1989 until the early 2000s
Also, have a look at joining the closed facebook Coupe group, I know of at least one NZ local on there.

Hey mate, fellow hello's from across the Ditch also. Hope you're staying well during this time. Yeah I was pretty fortunate to get in-time to buy my Coupe, got it for $3,500 NZD which was wild. Seen 2 listed recently... both selling within a week for $8,000+.
Would Mind sending me a link or something to that closed FB group? Feel free to add me on Facebook. Name is Lagan Smith, picture will be next to an old Alfa Romeo.
Thanks heaps mate, would love to see you're Coupe also!

There are, but most of the good Coupes have already come to the UK, Malaysia is another country to try. Just Google "japan auction car europe" and you should find some hits, but beware, not all Coupes in Japan are RHD

I met a old boy with a couple of coupe's and other Italien cars when I was in NZ in 2011. I drove past his house and saw a coupe nose poking out,so stopped for a chat. I've some pics somewhere. I will try and dig em out and post them up.

Oooh, I ran the plates, still current and being used I believe. South of Rotorua will most likely be Taupo. I've never seen a Coupe driving on the roads here.

That photo was taken in 2011 and that's the owner in the photo. He also said he had a pal down the road with one that used it as a track car.
It would of been south of Taupo also according to the order of my photos. I'm trying to load a couple more pics but I need to reduce the size.
