This event is being held on Sunday 14th June, not quite the old Spa Italia we remember as it's now only a one day event but I've been reliably informed the event is now much as it used to be with a large mix of modern and classic Italian vehicles on display, plenty of track sessions for bikes and cars which you can watch from the comfort of the stands, tickets are 15 euros, unsure on a club stand so something I'll look in to but I'll plan to make a long weekend for this and head down on the Friday morning to stay at the Eau Rouge camp-site again.

Today I've booked the shuttle for this event, plan to go over on the 12th so I can make a long weekend out of it returning on the 15th, present costs are £146.00 return which is £20 more then the ferry, reserved a chalet at Eau rouge, it's been 5 years since my last visit and I've been reliably told it's a great event again now so looking forward to it.

Update time for Spa Italia 2020, the club has 10x places available for members, costs are £30.00 which gains you access to the paddock with the Coupé and tickets for 2x people.

For anyone interested in going on circuit they offer a Parade session for £30.00 and also 30 minute track sessions costing £73.00 each.
Looking at the schedule there's 2x morning track sessions, 2x in the afternoon and an hours Parade from 12.00 until 13.00.
All track bookings will need to be paid for in advance and confirmed with me by the 20th May 2020, this will allow everyone to get the right passes on the day.

For accommodation there's a few options, the Eau Rouge camp site is always popular, link above, if you fancy splashing out you have the F1 hotel just outside the main circuit entrance or there's also www.hotellemidi.be which is 20 minutes away.

We have 10x places at the moment which can be increased if needed, from experience this is a fantastic venue with great opportunities to view many Italian cars you'd never see in the UK, and driving on this circuit is pure petrol head heaven.

It's not been announced yet but Spa Italia is being postponed until 20th September 2020.

Stranger things have happened

Unfortunately as posted on Facebook last night the organisers for Spa Italia or having to postpone this years event until 2021, a shame but I think we all saw this coming.
