Hi all, after removing the fuel pump after presumed failure I ordered a walbro and fitting kit but a Sytec turned up. I contacted the supplier and they said they would send a Walbro kit but again a Sytec turned up. I did some Googling and some car forums say they are the same and it's a Walbro pump just repackaged?

What are your thoughts?..... Some forum goers say all walbro pumps come with open packaging and some fluid on them as they are pressure tested.... Any truth in this?

Thank in advance Tom.

My impression is that Sytec and Walbro are 2 differing brands...not sure if they are one and the same now.

The walbro's i've bought have always been in a box and has no fluid whatsoever on them.
