All change!
Now we've taken the decision to close our business and return to the salaried ranks, we need to rationalise our fleet and - very sadly - that means we have to say farewell to our fabulous Panda 4x4.
We've used it as our courtesy car and customers have loved it.
We've obviously maintained it scrupulously, but it's still hardly cost us anything.
If it were more of a motorway car, we'd keep it, but its outstanding abilities around the Cotswold lanes are less useful on the M5!
64k miles and about to go on a sales website near you. Unless anyone here is interested...?

Thanks everyone - pics could happen when I get a moment; the car is being treated to a new propshaft, more as a preventive thing than anything else, but we've taken off its livery and it's now back in civilian clothes (silver).

Joe - we thought long and hard about our options looking ahead and we decided that to bow out now (when we're busier than we've ever been) made more sense than to wait until the much-anticipated recession arrives when we wouldn't be able to sell off our kit/business or find other work.
We've loved a lot of what we've achieved and learned some brilliant skills, but we both feel the creeping onset of age, so the answer for us seemed to be to look for jobs. We began searching in lockdown and only found out a couple of weeks ago (MrsC still doesn't know on one of her applications!), so it's been a while in the planning.

If we were 10 years younger - or had been in the business 10 years longer - the outlook might have been different, but we *think* we've made the right choice.

The Panda has left the driveway! Sad to see it go, but we think it's gone to a loving new home in the Forest of Dean...
