Been thinking of an indoor cover for the TT for a while.
I have been using polythene decorating sheets, as advised by many for storing cars. However as I now use the garage regularly, for other jobs, these sheets don't look too great, also when windy they go everywhere when I open the door. So I'll give one of these a go too. Got a good price on the LARGE as well.
Rob did you opt for the medium for the TT? Well worth the money to be honest. It fits the coupé very well and I think a good alternative to the original fiat cover.
I was going to try medium but I discovered details on another sales where they recommended going for LARGE (4860mm) for the TTRS. Once I've managed to wash the car I will get it covered.
Garage was extended and a new roof fitted last year. Sadly the work took far too long, that's cheap builders for you, so I didn't get to finish the inside before needing to get the car off the road. I still have to insulate and finish the walls and then decide what to do with the floor as it's a little uneven and part of the concrete is still too fresh. The carpet is water tolerant and mould resistant and, through a mate, was a cheap stop gap solution to make the place more comfortable and useable this winter.
I had been looking at getting the floor ground and then epoxy coated but the prices are mental and I'm not sure the space is worth that kind of investment. The interlocking rubber mats look very smart and although not cheap they could be the final solution.
Looks great Rob should hopefully stop and dust getting a chance to build up. I quite fancy covering the garage floor in those interlocking rubber mats.
