In response to the enthusiasm proffered above, a congratulatory email message has been sent by the Club to Mr. Bangle

And he has graced us already with a reply

Simon! Club members! Thank you so much, you are indeed kind! Think of the award as mostly an homage to a great car I had the privilege of being asked by the Muses and Fates to bring its concept to life (I see it that way, as am "egg" so cool that it caused its own chicken into being to hatch it! The chicken was me, of course. We call this process of the "intangible' becoming "tangible" one of "Instantiation"––I am thinking of changing my job description away from Designer into Instantiator).

Of course much credit also goes to Pininfarina Engineering, otherwise you would be restoring very poor sketches!

I would be very happy to receive one of your calendars!
