While in Huntingdon I spotted this rather sad sighting languishing in an overgrown garden - it looked like it's been there a while. ooo

Sad ... but also somehow heroic.

"But when are you going to make the blue car work daddy?"

Maybe a note through the door-is the right thing for this forgotten coupe?

The killer of cars is it being on damp ground. Maybe this could be saved. Maybe only a few parts can be rescued.

But would be a shame to leave it there any longer.

Regards

MM

Almost always un-economical - I took on a 16v that had been stood for a few years on hard standing, the welding bill was more than it was worth, then exhaust, belts brakes, tyres. And then dealing with the original issue as to why it was falling out of use, which was part the continuing emissions mot issue which was cam belt being out a tooth and ICV sensor and holes in downpipe.

I walked away down on that and thats with the help of some awsome people, another saved and gone on to some new blood that should love it but unless its for the love.. RUN AWAY tongue

As always, enthusiasm and wise words of caution - so hard to choose sometimes but I suspect it's close to being unviable. Am going past again today - will make a silent salute to it (
