A good day today as I have taken delivery of a broom yellow coupe.

There are a few issues however:

1. The yellow seems to be just yellow and not broom yellow.
2. The paint job is terrible so will need a respray.
3. It has a tan interior. Terrible.
4. The tracking seems way off.
5. The wheels are non standard.

Good points:

1. It was cheap. Well free actually.
2. There is no rust at all.
3. Its a rare car

Picture attached.

Enjoy.

Headlights look out of line...it may have been in a shunt at the front.

I'd be plugging in a startrek too- just to check all the ancillaries are working up to spec!

Regards

MM

Is it really small, or just far away?

I think that's 1/87 scale, so the cost of restoring a full size Coupe in similar condition would be 87 x £120.50 = £10,483.50, could be about right, not including tyres? I've got £3.50 to start, found it in the toy box...

Suppose the 100% scale values followed the same inflationary growth pattern of the Majorette version!

Original price £1.00 (at a guess?) now £75 on eBay! idea

Buy quick, £10k for 1:1 scale is a bargain! wink
