Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

I've been lucky for the last couple of years to be able to display my Coupe on the club's pitch at the Silverstone Classic event and doing the parade lap this year. cool I understand that the club has decided not to have an official club presence at the 2020 Silverstone Classic (31 July - 02 August).

However, PistonHeads are going again and as a PH member they've invited me to display my Coupe on the PistonHeads pitch thumb so I had a club code for buying bogoff and super early bird discounted tickets (before the end of December) so I'll be showing my Coupe and going for the whole weekend.

PistonHeads have said any other Coupe owners who are also PH members are welcome to do the same. Log into PH and go to Events / Classic Events and you'll find the eligibility list and exclusive booking code.

Why?

This is a fantastic event. A bit expensive I agree but there is so much to see and do

I organised it for the past two years and last year I also managed to arrange a track parade. However its just not that popular with the club members- Including me we had a total of 6 attending the event. I gave up a significant amount of my time to organise the club stand including committing to the full weekend including set up and strip down. All things done it is just not worth the time and effort for such a poor take up- and why I am not organising it this year.

Hi Matthew,
Joining instructions, car passes and tickets have now been sent out to people showing their cars for the 2021 Silverstone Classic next weekend 30th July - 01 August.

As Ballypete has explained above, the Silverstone Classic isn't popular enough with the membership to warrant the significant time and effort that (voluntary) administrators need to put in for our club to attend any event.

We love the Silverstone Classic and go every year. I'm displaying with PistonHeads next weekend. I'll be wearing my 25th Anniversary top and I'l have some FCCUK calling cards with me to hand out to anyone interested.

I believe full price 'Joe public' tickets are still available. We'll be back next year and will be buying our tickets during the super earlybird price period again. Maybe I won't be the only Fiat Coupe displaying next year. wink

Perfect mate that’s brilliant 👍

Well next year let me know as I’m interested in going, will be great to see other coupes and maybe meet up and convoy down there in a massive group. 😊

Any other shows I’m interested I’ve just booked into Festival Italia at brands hatch under your fiat coupe group which will be good 👍

Having just bought another Coupe I'd have been interested in this, as I live 5 minutes from SIlverstone (Towcester), however we are off on holiday so will miss it this year. Its definitely well worth going if you haven't been before.

If you are in the area, I would urge you to check out this place: https://carnatter.com

Its a superb concept of a kind of 'hang out' for car folks, and it also has good coffee smile
