We have news from AutoItalia magazine of some meeting planned this year.

AutoItalia will be held at Brooklands on Sunday 18th July.

If all goes well, most Covid restrictions will be over by then so It looks like the first big meeting in the south of England in 2021.

So I can liase with Phil Ward about our numbers attending and getting suitable space for our coupes please add your name to the list below.

Just had an email from Phil ward advising that the event will be an all ticket affair with no payment at the gate. He will let me know when ticketing is up and running.

Hopefully this will mean that there aren't the long queues at the gate.

Once again Covid restrictions have hit and the event has now been rescheduled to Sunday 10th October

Do you know what time we will have to be in place by?

Gates open at 8;30 and admission to the site is normally until 2 hours before closing which is 5pm.

it's usually best to get there as early as possible as queues do build up by around 9:30, though it may be better this year with tickets having to be bought on line in advance.

if anyone wishes to go up the Test Hill they will need to take their driving licence with them.

Yes, that is where to get the tickets. There are a number of Travellodges in the area , I think T stayed in one of them one year when she came down.

Thanks Pete was looking forward to that too, I was about to buy the tickets but just noticed on the Brooklands Museum website that dogs are not allowed so thats a spanner in the works for us coming down. I cant get through on the number to confirm if this is museum only.
