That was epic; from the journey down in convoy with Brian, the futile search for the elusive 99RON, the assault on the senses with the vast array of classics and exotica, the continuing search for fuel after the show, to the drive home. What a great weekend.
This is how it should have come out of Torino!

Definitely worth the 800 odd miles trek. Great to see everyone and to see some new faces also. Superb collection of Italian Machinery.... As you say Rob it was an "Assault on the senses" and even hunting the endless Alfa car park to find a 145. Vastly different from the last time I was present in 2003
unfortunately we had to leave a little early but probably as well we did. Thankfully we managed to get home just before 11.

Driving up into the mountains in Tenerife we came across this red 16V owned by a local couple parked up by a picnic area. Our conversation was a combination of Pidgin English and sign language but we gleaned they'd had it from new and mileage is around 120,000 km - it was in very good nick. We showed them a pic of our re 20VT from a trip to the Alps a while back. It was such a great surprise and really made our day.
