Jake will be joining us in his Abarth, and possibly Rob40 if he can get cover. Is Rob planning to meet up with you and Jake? M and I plan to catch one of the several ferries that depart from the east coast on Friday evening

Gutted I can’t get to this,,was really looking forward to the trip. I’ll be blocking the work holiday calendar as soon as next year’s dates are announced!!
Have a fantastic time everyone and can someone please say high to Marc de Haan, tell him I’ll be there next year
This is how it should have come out of Torino!

I know, I saw it in Turin but got dragged away to the Centro Storico and didn't see much of Marc that day
This is how it should have come out of Torino!

In spite of rain sadly curtailing the day and wrapping things up by around 3 o'clock, hats-off again to the organisation and generosity of "the Dutchies" who give us all their customary warm welcome and time to switch languages to chat with us Zandvoort was a first time for me and in spite of its proximity to the beach it's got a healthy dose of inclines and dips, as well as some nippy corners - one particular right-hander has a reverse camber threatening to throw off the unwary. Assen, the previous few years' venue, is flatter but less acute, even the chicane at the start of the stands being a nifty twitch rather than extra braking. Both are well shorter than Spa which has long runway-wide patches contrasting with the likes of the incomparable Eau Rouge joe was more fortunate this time but the jinx hit Jake instead who blew a gasket at the end of his first session, compounded by ?rear caliper seizure? on his early return home Still an extra hour back in Haarlem with Emilia was a fair substitute, packed food and a beer or so augmenting the luggage on a relaxed run to the Rotterdam-Hull ferry .....which excelled itself by leaving fifty-TWO mintes early
