Are my messages that were once in my inbox hidden somewhere? Asking as after logging in recently for the first time in years lots have vanished?

Failing that his for sale advert also not showing, but was in circa 2015/6 A brief look chrissy shows you have posts dating back to 2005 - not sure why you can't access them if that's what you mean? I have feeling that legacy For Sale ads are culled after a certain time..
