Not really the same but close to it as a subject, that is, you only know how good an insurance company is when you make a claim, I had this experience. My sweet little Honda Beat was spun off the M25 by a lorry who pulled out into me. It was written off. I had it insured with Aviva and had ticked the £5000-£10000 box for its value. I'd paid £5500 for it as I remember. And that is what they paid. The Honda Beat is a bit fewer on the ground than a Coupe, but there was one for sale on eBay at the time for £5999, a kite flying exercise that had been on there for ages and ages. The one at £2500 (knackered but an almost realistic price) had been withdrawn from sale a week before. Now I know that Aviva didn't pay it, as they would have claimed it off the lorry's insurers, who blustered a bit as seems contractually expected, but they didn't contest.
