AutoItalia at Brooklands Museum returns to its normal early spring date.

This year it is on Saturday 30th April with gates open from 9:am.

Its the first chance many of us have had to meet up with fellow enthusiasts for quite a while, so let's put on a good show.

I'm guessing this list hasn't been coordinated with the FB group. None the less I'm looking forward to bumping into a few of you at the weekend

How many Coupes on the FB list Chris?
............maybe this year we'll actually be able to all park together.

There didn't seem to be much interest on the Facebook group that I could find Chris. only a couple of cars.

Nevertheless I had forecast 10 to 15 attendees to AutoItalia and have asked that we be put together so we can find each other.

Joe, we normally do get a space for us to be together, sometimes it doesn't get through to the Brooklands marshals unfortunately.

Last October I was asked to be part of the Lampredi engined car display so I was elsewhere.

We have a prime spot this year.

Gates open 0830. Use the Campbell Gate, it will be signposted for Italian cars.

Wow what an awesome location for the club parking, it's been a long time since we had such a prime spot so I'm really pleased we've decided to go now

This is what to expect, under Concorde, but obviously it's getting harder each year to get enough Coupés together. This is from 2013, the last one I was able to attend and there were over 30 Coupés that day.

Hi all, I had an awesome day, starting with arriving later than expected and then being directed slowly through the crowds to be placed side on against the barriers alongside Concord's nose !

(My car was the burgundy Plus with an exceptionally shiny petrol filler cap; achieved after making an unintentional clean spot with AutoSol and then spending an hour to make it ALL shiny !)

I did venture back a couple of times to see if any of you guys were about but missed you.

The next event I will be at is Festa Italia at Sharnbook Hotel in Bedford on Sunday 5th June; this event is in conjunction with AutoSportivo from whom I acquired my car from (thanks to Ant and his team). We will be meeting up at AutoSportivo base (just a short 12 mile drive from the event) to then convoy down to the event.

It was a great event. I counted 17 Coupes on the day, not a bad turnout, and we had a great spot. Weather was perfect too.
