I was reading an article in Car and Classic about a guy taking delivery of his 50th car all Fiats! He was a Fiat employee and had met his wife via Fiat so I guess brand loyalty was likely but 50? I got to thinking that as I keep my cars for some time I'm probably nowhere that figure but when I started adding up I soon got up to 21, add another 25 or so bikes and I'm not far off.
Mind you I'm bit of tart when it comes to brands having had at least 10 different ones.

Punto Sporting
Punto Sporting
Coupe 20v na
Alfa 156
Punto Grande
Alfa Giulietta

Coupe 20v na

All of them used to their full potential and lived lives.
Only the Giulietta was a little disappointing. I really wanted to love it, but it was just a car.

Mmm. Not a great list for me, as I had cars with work for 15 years. This includes Mrs G also.

Punto 75sx
Bravo 100sx
Coupe 20v NA
Coupe 20v VIS (current)
Alfa Giulietta JTDM
Alfa Giulia Veloce (current)
OK a bit tenuous but.. Fiat Ducato van which is actually badged as a Peugeot Boxer. But it IS a Fiat I tell you!! laugh

Agree with sentiments on the Giulietta. Was a great looking car but was a bit Meh. I'd have another but a petrol next time.

The Giulia is a completely different kettle of fish. That is a stunning machine.

I bought a Fiat Panda years ago for £10 from a dealership that wanted rid of it as it needed work doing to it. I had it for a day and someone I knew offered me £50 for it as they wanted a cheap car to do up for their daughter so I sold it to them.

Then, not sure if I would have ever considered another Fiat, but went to work in a garage that specialises in italian cars and got to know and like the Coupe and then when a customer turned up in a Sprint Blue Coupe, I knew that was the next car for me laugh

So, 2 x 20VT Coupes in Sprint Blue laugh One on the road for 10 years, but cost too much to sort out in the end so now on my driveway as spares for my current one that I've had for 6 years, but am now in a dilemma with what to do next as this current Coupe also needs a lot of money spending on it frown

My fiat ownership list is a brief one:
2000 Multipla ELX diesel
1998 20v NA (current)
2004 Fiat Punto Dynamic (bought as my daughters first car)

Wish I still had the multipla as it was a cracking family car and so practical and I loved its looks even though it was called an ugly bug
My daughter remembers her Punto fondly as she drove it well and loved its handling.

Well, in 50+ years of motoring probably not that many cars.

In order -

Austin 1800 (brilliant for carrying large amounts of stuff)
Metro (honest!)
MG Montego Turbo (actually a good car)
MG Montego Turbo No.2
MG Metro (great fun)
Renault Laguna (for work)
Renault Clio 172 (also great fun)
Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo (Sprint Blue) - bought in 2004
Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo (Speed Red) - bought in 2009 and still with just 45,000 on the clock!

I tend to keep my cars for a while - I don't recall any that I sold on with under a hundred k - so from memory:

mini (proper mini, not one of these modern things taller than me!)
datsun 120Y
datsun bluebird
datsun sunny
datsun 240Z
JC Midge (datsun powered MG-TD style kit)
Firefly (panda, then 1300 127 powered kit)
Panda
Punto
Nissan Silvia
Panda (daughter's - she managed to set fire to it somehow)
Punto
Punto
* Coupe 16v NA (original and best, accept no subsitutes)
Seat Cupra
Coupe 20VT
Quantum kit (XR2 power, then 20V)
Bravo, written off at 260k miles
Bravo, given away at 200k miles
* Renault Kadjar (spit)

I feel I may have forgotten one or two... There was an Austin A35 that I owned only on paper for a while, I think, never saw the car for complicated reasons smile Currently owned cars marked with *
