Is it possible to retro fit cruise control to a 20V?

Thanks.

Though I'm not sure if anyone actually fitted any... we spoke years ago to a company in the midlands: if the company still exists, it has (had) the information to fit a cruise control, but whether they have the physical parts is another question; they were mostly looking at installing mechanical servo systems into manual throttle cars and with the rise of fly by wire I suspect their market may have disappeared.

I recall the name: Naomi Onions was our contact. Unfortunately I don't recall the company name, and my google-fu is weak on this one.

This company: https://carcruisecontrol.co.uk/ might be worth a phone call. They do at least offer a servo module.

Cruise control really would be an asset for me when driving up and down the A9 the yellow peril are a real pain literally in my right foot and leg, hours of keeping to the speed limit. I do remember on here years ago a discussion about this but there was no real outcome, what I do remember the price was very expensive.

That's a good point Jim, as for me the speed is critical. At 50/60 I start to get cramp in my right foot which is why I originally had the pedal bar adjusted to reduce the angle. 70 or so it's fine!

During the restoration it was discovered I wasn't getting full throttle, and presumably assuming we never drive below 70 up here a re-adjustment was carried out tongue

I can see the attraction for cruise control but for me it would take away the "drive" of the coupé which is what it's all about driving

Thanks barnacle, that's brilliant. I emailed them today, yet to receive a response. If necessary I'll phone them.

Had a quote of £1200 today for mechanical throttle cruise control. Electronic is £495. Would I be correct in thinking the coupe has a mechanical throttle?

Yep throttle cable. When I inquired years ago it wasn’t much cheaper.

Good reviews and pretty reasonably priced. Would you fit it yourself?

Will your local (?Norwich) chap be happy to fit it, at a not too horrific price?

I'd say any auto electrician would be able to do this

That's what I was thinking Jamiepm. Most likely route for me Edinburgh, although I haven't yet bought a kit.
