Here is a copy of an email listing this years AutoItalia events.

New for 2023 is the event at Sywell. The Ferrari Owners Club have invited us to join forces with them in this venture, which has the potential to be a successful, high profile, all-Italian annual event.

There will be extensive club and trade displays, with awards provided by Meguiar’s for the car selected for the Pride of Ownership Trophy and the Best Club Stand. A live stage will feature a selected car offered by each Owners Club to be brought forward for interviews. Celebrity interviews are also expected. Themed catering will be available and there is also the excellent Aviator Hotel and restaurant on site.

Selected cars will take part in taxi-way demonstrations and there will be high speed runway runs for invited, special cars.

I would be grateful if you would spread the word. I will send more details when the activities programme has been finalised.

Regards,

Phil

2023 EVENTS

37th ITALIAN CAR DAY
BROOKLANDS

Saturday 29th April

Established in 1986 as the UK’s first all-Italian gathering, the event has evolved to become the jewel in the crown for Italian car owners and admirers. The unique combination of the track demonstration of selected, special cars, and the chance for owners to drive their own cars up the demanding test hill, is complemented with extensive club displays. If you arrive in an Italian car, you can join in with the fun.

Tickets are on sale on the Brooklands Museum website. Please pre-book your discounted tickets for the event.

For information on taking part on the track and test hill email phil@auto-italia.co.uk

PRESCOTT ITALIA
WITH AUTO ITALIA

Saturday 13th May

We are again teaming up with Prescott Hill Climb for the third Prescott Italia event. Expect to see and hear classic and modern Italian machinery working hard on the hill climb. There will also be Italian food available to add to the atmosphere. Arrive in an Italian car and take part in the displays.

Further information will be available on social media. To book tickets and purchase non-competitive runs up the Hill head to: www.prescotthillclimb.co.uk

NORTHERN ITALIAN CAR DAY
WITH RABY CASTLE

Saturday 8th July

This fabulous location is a superb venue for Italian car clubs and owners in the Northeast and Northwest of England, as well as Scotland. The castle is easily accessible for visitors arriving from the South via the A1(M). The display area is ideally placed within parkland with the castle as an ideal backdrop.

Tickets will be on sale through the Raby website. Please pre-book your tickets for this event. www.raby.co.uk

VIVA ITALIA
WITH THE FERRARI OWNERS CLUB
SYWELL AERODROME

Auto Italia has joined forces with the Ferrari Owners Club to create a new all-Italian event at Sywell Aerodrome. Centrally located near Kettering in Northamptonshire, Sywell is home to motoring and aviation collections with art deco-style hangars and superb display areas. There will be club displays, although access is open to all Italian cars. Selected cars will take part in taxi-way demonstrations and there will be high speed runway runs for invited, special cars.

Is Phil Ward also involved with the (date-to-be-confirmed) Mitcar event Pete?

Mitcar is run by the Alfa-Romeo Owners' Club Simon , so no, nothing to do with Phil.

MITCAR is organised by Alfa Romeo Owner's Club, nothing to do with Auto Italia magazine
