I have just had a look at the status of our booking with Festival Italia organisers and it shows that Mark Morrison's application is "approved but the driver still needs to redeem their pass"

It seems odd that so far just 5 people have applied to display at one of the best Italian car events in the south of England.

We have 20 spaces set aside for us, let's fill the remaining 15.

it is open to all coupe owners this year, not just Club Members.

We're at another show the day before at Bicester so that has scuppered plans (having camped for last year's touring cars) to have a leisurely drive down on Saturday with the caravan and make use of the free camping. Applying for Festival Italia was refreshingly easy, I logged in, selected our club display and the system brought up my Coupe details. Hope we have a good turnout as we did last year.

If you intend to go you need to register with MSV first or you won't be able to park with the other coupes inside the circuit. There is a link 6 or 7 posts previously on 22 June.

The application deadline to display your coupe is Sunday 30th July.

You should be getting an email with your tickets and display passes shortly. Mine have just arrived.

We have been allocated area C5 , one of the white coloured areas on the map, fairly close to the entrance, unlike last year.

Thanks Pete. I got 2 emails, 2 minutes apart, both identical as far as I can tell. Still, better twice than not at all!! All tickets printed off ready for next weekend.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on 13th.

Had a good turnout at Festival Italia yesterday and enjoyed some great racing on the circuit. Even managed to stay for the parade lap which my granddaughter got very excited about.

Had a lovely day, didn't manage to spend enough time with everyone. Forgot to take photos so did a quick lap to get some in, came back and everyone was leaving :-) oh well!

Joe - I didn't pay you for the door seal, it fits and the door closes properly now so I definitely need to sort you out.
