Hi Annie, welcome back That's a bold move - looking up Google it comes up with the following: You are legally allowed to sell your car without a log book (V5C) as it only acts as a proof of registration and not as a proof of ownership. You'd need to provide the buyer with a bill of sale which would include all the information that the buyer would need to apply for a new log book using the V62 form. - 8 Jan 2021You may also have read this CarGuide article which goes through most of the circumstances in which a car could be sold without the V5C. Having said that I don't want to sound alarmist as I'm unaware of the circumstances. Fingers crossed there aren't too many things needing attention apart from the cambelt!

Why has it been re-listed if you've bought it? I can see the old auction, but there's a new one as well
EDIT - just noticed the oil pressure is well below 1.5 bar and it looks like the temp gauge is at cold. This would be enough to put me off.
Airbag light is on, and it has previously failed its MOT on rust - I'd want to know a lot more about how this was dealt with

I have pulled out of the sale, because I was worried about driving it home when the cambelt is due. I thought the comment added to the title was totally unjustified considering this. The ad itself was, shall we say, economical in its description too.... Also, can you get spares for the non turbo ones? Depends, but most items are probably available as after-market if you can't get OE.

I knew of a garage in the 1970's that would sometimes fill rotton sills with soil before adding filler and over spraying!!!!
