Hi all, At this stage I'm just seeing if there's enough interest to have a day at this sprint circuit. https://www.curborough.co.uk/Previously I've attended sessions at the track via the RSUK group (Renault), and they're a great bunch of folks and I've really enjoyed the atmosphere My immediate thought is something towards the back end of summer, and it would be a Saturday From memory the cost is about £1800 for the day, and I think there is a limit of about 20 cars, and the cost is simply divided up between drivers. I will be checking in with the RSUK folks and some other guys I know are interested to get the overall numbers up to make it cheaper for all Cheers Jamie

So just had a reply
All Saturdays are booked until November, so personally not interested as the weather will be cold at best
The only day/date that looks good is Friday 2nd June,if that’s possible for folks
I will ask a bit further afield to get numbers up
Below is the cut and paste from the admin at curborough
Importantly, due to current noise problems at Curborough, you cannot use a vehicle with anti-lag, the maximum static noise is 105 dBa (for MSUK events, noise = Section J, appendix 1 chart 5.18, section G), plus no drifting, drag racing or doughnuts are allowed. Any infringements will lead to the offender(s) being escorted immediately from the premises. Due to this, you will be limited to using the top loop only.
From the beginning of March onwards, we run half days (either AM or PM) and full days. The prices for which are:
Half day private hire £375.00 plus VAT = £450.00 (also winter half day rate) Full day private hire £750.00 plus VAT = £900.00 Weekend full day private hire £850.00 plus VAT = £1,020.00 (very limited, primarily for MSUK clubs)
You will also require public liability insurance to a minimum of £5M for a motorsport environment, which if you don't have your own for motor sport, a company called MIS can provide this at the rates of:
0-5 participants = £80 10-20 participants = £175 20-50 participants = £260 Over 50 participants = refer
Cheers jamie

Right folks looks like we’ll have enough cars to make this happen
I’ll need to finalise a few points over the next few days , of which price is a key point
The overall hire costs for the day look like it will be £900 plus the insurance at £175
Then it’s simply a division of that by drivers/cars
Cheers Jamie

Had a great day today, putting the car through its paces.
Drove faultlessly and finally now has some turn in with some proper rubber on each corner. Albeit ive about worn the fronts with one hot/tough session
Also had a great catch up with Joe, roll on the next one
