It's Steve here, used to be NissanSteve previously. I've had to sign. Up again as I've lost access to the email I used way back when.

I had a lot of stuff going on the last time I was active here. Turns out I had more than a few mental health issues to deal with.
Anyway, I'm back and feeling much better about life 😃

I still have my Rosso 20VT / V8 shell unfinished, but I've also had a Broom Yellow 20VT rolling shell that's just been hanging around for the last 8 odd years.
It's a funny story really. Both cars were for sale on these very forums many years ago.
Owned by the same seller, I bought the Rosso and another member bought the Broomy.
Sadly the Broomy with lots of plus bits on it blew up, so the owner mostly stripped it.
That was back in 2016 I think. I then acquired the rolling shell, which ended up just living in my workshop, before I sold more of its parts.

Fast forward to this year, and as I needed to make some space I offered it up on Ebay.
After having no Internet in it, and being clear of mental health problems and seeing the world with renewed vigor, and realising I'd probably never get to drive another Coupe if they were gone, I decided to recommission the car.

No easy task as, over the years I didn't know what i still had, what I'd sold and where any of it was.
Luckily to the detriment of my family I'm a "bit of a hoarder" and I'm. Pleased to report that most things I still possessed.

I have had to locate another interior, consoles, carpet, wheels, turbo and countless other bits and bobs over the last few weeks, I think I'm about 98 percent there with parts now!

I will start a new project thread in the appropriate section and keep it updated.
Hopefully not disappearing into some breakdown again 😃
As soon as I remember how to post pics I'll put some up.

Good to see you back Steve and terrific to hear you investing in saving another coupé which would otherwise be destined for file 13!

Looking forward to reading your Project thread (my mates and I have also brought a Broomy back to life after it sat under a hedge for 13 years - it took us several years!) - start a Discussion thread too whivh we can all comment on thumb
