I have recently bought a gtec 2 chip and plan on getting it installed for a little bit of extra power for cheap, as I do not have the required funds to get a proper custom map for the car.
I have the following mods:
K&N box air filter
FMIC
Full 3 inch custom exhaust (with a cat, mid and back box)
Larger aluminium radiator
new NGK spark plugs

Currently running 10w60 oil with around 2.2-2.4 bar at warm and 1-1.5 when really giving it the beans.
I have also recently installed a set of clocks: AFR, boost gauge and battery voltage (although that's irrelevant) just to make sure it's all running well.
On top of that, I also have a Greddy electronic boost controller.

Should I be fine with installing the gtec 2 chip and just keeping an eye out on the afr and the boost gauge?
Or should I go do a fueling check as well?

It will be fine, just keep boost at 1.3 bar maximum

Hi, can I please ask where you bought your GTEC2 chip as I'm looking for one also. Thanks!

Greetings,
sorry for the intrusion because it has nothing to do with this discussion, but does anyone know what happened to Grahaml?
he is not even in the user list.
