Just passed the MOT today with no advisories again.

This winters list of things done have included.

1. Replace rear wiper motor, modified plastic cover to chanel any water through a pipe through the grommet behind the interior boot trim
2. Replace seat belt stalks due to faded red release buttons
3. Remove B pillar trims, repaint and Replace 16v badges with NOS off eBay. Whilst trims off Replace sound deadening and rear speakers
4. Replace front speakers and paint speaker grills. Replace head unit for newer Clarion from a 20v.
5. Replace leaking rocker cover gasket.
6. Remove rust from brake rotors visable through the wheels and paint with VHT paint.
7. Polish fuel cap.
8. Replace cracked washer jet hose with small bore silicon, Replace wiper springs and paint arms and skuttle panel
9. Weld up a small hole in OS rear boot floor
10. Fit parking sensors to a replacement rear bumper as previous owners had bruised original bumper.
11. Painted seat runners when seats out for the stalk replacement.

I think that's it. Time to enjoy.

What type of parking sensors did you fit, drilled or metal strip?

Alfa Romeo 166 are identical, a breaker on eBay. Except the rears have more of a bend on the mounting plate and all the bolts are differant lengths, just swap with originals.

I drilled and the ones I brought were yellow, not quite matched but blew over with a rattle can from Halfords as with the bumper.

Some of it is down to a bit of OCD, if something looks a bit naff I like to make it better. Unfortunately I have a couple of small dings in the body work and lacquer peel but I can't afford a respray yet so those issues have to be put away for another year.
