Thought I’d give this a bump as it’s this Sunday. Anyone else booked in or planning to attend? (I was the only Coupe at SCITP in May; meanwhile you could take your pick of Lambos, Ferraris, McLarens etc.!! Maybe it will be similar this weekend…)

Sadly a lacklustre and extremely disappointing event, with not a single of the promised Ferrari, Lamborghini, De Tomaso, Pagani, Iso present. I expect there was only about 40 cars or so on display. Fortunately two of those were Andrew's and my 20V N/A. Good to see Andrew and his daughter.

Good to see you again Andrew. After you left your spot was taken by a rather nice Lancia; not sure why they arrived so late?!

It was a strangely quiet show but the weather was good and we still enjoyed it. Had a nice chat with various owners and it was generally very laid back. We saw plenty of Ferraris and Lamborghinis at SCITP in May so the lack of them was less disappointing but we were hoping to see more scooters and bikes.

I'd have liked to have joined you. Three 20v NA together. Instead I was at Cholomondeley Castle, Malpas, which was OK but only 1 Coupe. Mine!

It's a shame when organisers put the effort in and then no-shows.

The lancia and alfa are of a good period and look wonderful.

Mike, hope to meet you at a show in future. Do you have any others booked? I’ve not got anything else lined up this year. MITCAR was good last year, looks like it’s a bit further south this year but might still go. What variety of cars did you get at the show you went to?

Paul, it’s certainly a shame when turnout is lower than expected. Not sure what to attribute it to in this instance. Maybe they didn’t publicise it enough or maybe it’s just peak show season and people have to pick and choose what to attend.

I'll be going to Italia Fest 25, (previously known as Oaksmere Italia) https://www.trybooking.com/uk/events/landing/85931. Several coupe went last year, it would be great to increase the number this time. I've been twice, it's certainly an event on an upwards trajectory.
There's a good selection of cars including the usual suspects plus scooters, motorcycles, Maserati, Lamborghini and Ferrari.

I'll be posting this as an event with its own thread in due course. Is there anyone in East Anglia who happens to have a club banner for use at this show please?
