Evening all
My Father in law (80 yrs) has an Apr-97 20v Turbo, which hasn’t been used very much in the last +5yrs. I took it for a service late last year and questions were raised regarding the age of the Cambelt, which no one can remember when. Also the Power Steering pump needs replacing as noiser than the Longlife exhaust ! However, the item which we are having issues locating is a Clutch kit. Does anyone know of anyone who may have a kit in stock ? Also, any advice on any clutch variations which we need to aware of. We don’t think that he will be driving again, but he is very keen to resolve all the issues and for us the drive. Many thank all

Hi Ali and welcome to the forum smile

Valeo was a go-to traditionally but they're hard to get now.

Autodoc has a Sachs clutch left

here

But I can't vouch for its quality I'm afraid - maybe someone else knows?

Have a look at CG clutches.
They have plenty of options and can provide a standard clutch kit from stock.
Give them a call.

The correct clutch assuming your car is a 20vt 5 speed is a valeo 821251

If it’s a 6 speed it’s a valeo 821360, although the 6 speed clutch fits the 5 speed the springs catch on the flywheel bolts and make a clatter until they wear down l, the 5 speed fits the 6 speed no problem

You can fit the Alfa gta clutch to a coupe no problem and I’ve done it on a few occasions, it’s a valeo 826319 and they are cheaper smile

Any other brand you buy will be a valeo in the box

Further to French coupes recommendation, Mick at CG
clutches can also reline your original friction plate. I’ve having mine relined as we speak with a Kevlar material , and then will refit my used cover plate and release bearing and they are in a good condition

Cheers Jamie
