Father in law is in hospital so parked the coop on his drive to give the impression the house wasn't empty. Long story but he's been in longer than expected so when i came to start the car the battery was flat. No problem, started first time after a little charge, ran it for 20mins or so and did a little drive, got out pushed the button the lights flashed but no clunk from the central locking. Assumed some electrical fault as result of no voltage and put it on the 'to do list' so locked it with the key. Can't recall why but went back to the car 10mins or so later and automatically pushed the button and it unlocked, pushed it again and it locked, problem solved, a variation on the 'turn it off and back on again?'
Any ideas what was going on?
