Got the Meta alarm and a while back, I had some issues with the boot switch and managed to sort it out with the great advice from here.

However, now I have a new problem with the alarm activating but with central locking not working. A few weeks ago, my car had been sitting in the driveway for a while and I could not lock/unlock the car. I figured it was down to bad batteries in the remote and ordered some new ones. After coming back from the holiday, I tried the new batteries but had no luck. So I opened the car with the key and tried to start the car but realized the car battery was dead.
Having changed the car battery, she fires right up but the remote only activates the alarm but does not lock/unlock the car. Also, only the side wing indicators flash when activating/disabling the alarm, not the front and rear like usual. Also, when I first tried to get into the car with the alarm activated but with a low battery, the alarm was only triggered once I opened the hood, and not when opening the doors. After charging the car battery, the alarm is triggered by the doors etc. Also, I have no remote locking functionality with the key or key fob.

Got any good advice how to sort out the central locking?
