The Club is looking to use good quality (resolution at least 1.5MB if possible) photos which can be used in next year's calendar.

The aim would be to select the 12 out of all your submissions in time to supply them to the printers in November. At the end of March a choice will be made from your submissions to be put forward to the final cut.

Forum software can reduce the file sizes but if you keep the original (if yours is selected) then it can be sent by other means to maintain its integrity.

There are innumerable photos of coupés - your photo doesn't have to be of the whole car, any artistic or imaginative set-up welcomed!

Do we post them to the forum on this thread or send them to you? Please elaborate.

Feel free to post them here, obviously they'll need to be within 2MB each. If you have higher-resolution copies it would be good to hang on to them in the event any are selected for inclusion further down the line; at that stage they can be transmitted by other means.

Locally a few of us intend to do similar restoration, but to a colleague's Plus which was rear-ended a few days ago by a Toyota Warrior. Its bull-bars have inflicted quite a mess of the area but fortunately the rear screen is still intact.

Very sad to hear that the Plus was rear ended. Gutting for everyone concerned. Good luck with the repairs.

It's our most northerly Coupé in the UK, it's lucky the owner was still able to drive it the rest of the way up the A9 and on two ferries!

Just out of interest..... is an image at 2Mb good enough quality, or is it just for an initial view and if interested a quality image will need to be supplied at a later date?

Most of mine are at 5Mb - 10Mb (but can be re-sampled!

5-10 MB would be terrific.

If you could resize a copy to 2MB for perusal on here then if it's selected we can get you to send the large-file version

Not sure if either of these would be good enough. It may be now that the weather has cooled (dropped 16 degrees since Saturday and now a comfortable 25), I could possibly take the car out into the country and take a couple more!

Why on hoilday to Iceland in May of last year, I met a guy called George. We got talking & he said he has the only 2 Coupes on the island !! They will need a bit of work.
