Does anyone known if these can be adjusted? We've got them all over the place on the Merc and they are over sensitive, paranoid, possibly as result of the father in law rearranging the bodywork on numerous occasions before we relived him of it.

Too much paint I'll wager when they've repaired the bumper. Not much to be done other than replacing them and ensuring they're all properly mounted/solid. It could be that one is failing. Possibly. But you'd really have to try and work out from what angle it's sensitive and start with that one

The paint theory rings true, both bumpers and the nearside wing were replaced and repainted. It also suffers from the notorious Mercedes red lacquer peel which has required copious amounts of paint. Many thanks
