Many many years ago, probably 2008 or 2009, CarlT wrote a long post about the work he did on my Coupe after I slightly restyled it. I'm sure it had the word "Capmeister" in the title. The search facility only goes back 12 years, so I can't search for it. Wondered whether the mods might have advanced search powers, or whether anyone else remembers where the thread is?
Thanks in advance!

Cappo, although you seem to be correct about the 12-year Search limit - which I was unaware of! - if you search within the individual section, eg Technical Issues or Coupé Related Chat you will find posts which are a lot older. Click on the last page in each section to find out how.
With a bit of memory-searching and patience you might even find the elusive thread

Brilliant, thanks mattB, that's the one. I'm off for a nostalgic read!
@Edinburgh, the slight issue with that was that I had no idea which section it was originally posted in!
Well found Matt!
Yes Cappo I realised that but as you are a Coupé owner I had every faith in your being able to track it down eventually; however forum powah has struck again as above
Shame the photos were eaten by Photobucket, don't suppose you had copies of any of them....

I think you can search all of time by changing the date range to blank (or you used to be able to). I just went to user post (Cappos) and then back through the history to ~2009 and found it.

Hello Matt! Hope you are well! Just tried to pm you but can’t for some reason. Just saw your name and wanted to say hello, blast from the past, I used to be on here years ago (must be 18/20 years ago now) as Kevcrab, broom yellow 20v , you did a couple of jobs on. She is sadly no more …but I bought another 2 years ago and re registered here but hadn’t posted since, now got a red 20v Turbo LE, hope yours is still alive! I’m still living in Gourdon , be good to meet up sometime again if you are still in the area

Hi Kev, good to hear from you. I'm all good - live in Drumlithie now. My coupe still 'exists' although it's existence is spread out across the garage, my loft, various other places. One day!
Yeah it'd be cool to meet up sometime.

Glad to hear your coupe is still around Matt even if not all in one piece! My yellow coupe wasn’t so lucky unfortunately…I didn’t have a garage for a few years and it was parked up by the sea, nothing wrong with it then but life, marriage and 2 kids came along and by the time I got a garage at my new house I got her in and started to dig deeper and she was well gone at sills etc…kept her a while but decided to strip her for parts which I’ve kept, stupidly didn’t keep the engine New coupe is not bad but bought it without viewing ( mistake..) had a lot of unknown issues to fix, quite high mileage and certainly not mint, spent a lot on her this year but still more I want to do, but she’s in decent usable condition. The Turbo certainly is more fun than the n/a was
