Currently 7 coops on Ebay with an average of £11k, is it finally happening?

Maybe but there have been a lot of past false dawns. It doesn't really matter as long as you love and keep your car.

Don't get me wrong, I want the values to rise as much as anyone. But 11K of car now is probably what 5K was 10 years back. Unfortunately we need to start seeing cars in the 20K range constantly for them be making progress.

Fingers crossed they all sell as that'd be a great start

Agreed, but i think it's a step in the right direction, I think for anything to be a 'classic' you need to pay more for it than it cost new so some way to go I fear. Good to see that some of the Ebay cars were N/A and 16vt, spreading the love!

I paid close to 11K for my coop last year, so there are people ready to spend that much. Still, I think most of the demand will be around the standard LE and Plus versions.
