I dropped my car off yesterday for it's MOT and annual service.
I expect some rust repairs and a wish list of odds and sods. Condensation in the side lights, locks overhaul. I'm leaving it for a couple of weeks while we are on holiday.
Missing it already.
Only evidence of it's existence is the oil stain on the drive.

Pre MOT check has identified welding required in passenger side wheel well. Service done and other bits and bobs. My garage is looking at a plan for me, to manage the rust that's developing. I drew up a shortlist this morning of my requirements, based on
The fact that I love the car Passing annual MOTs Gumption Regular good quality servicing Managing rust repair and prevention. Money.
I'm lucky that money isn't the major issue, but gumption raises it's head.
My car might be worth £2.5-£4k. So expense needs to be rational.
I'm very grateful for you asking. Support from the Club is one of the things that helps me make the right decisions.

Gosh ! That was a long month. Blizzards then two weeks of flu.
Brought the car home across the North York Moors yesterday. Great to be in it again.
Quite a lot of rust repair required passenger side front wheel well. A few bits and bobs elsewhere. MOT passed with no issues.
Matt thinks that the general rust underneath is progressing faster than he had hoped. I need get my head around the car being a 'classic', and maybe not using it all year around, especially through the winter.
Thorough wash and wax required now, as the car lives outside.
