Thinking of you guys hit by this incessant downpour, the Wales crew (Morrison, Theresa and co), NE Scotland (jimboy, mattB?) and south west (plenty of you); how has this affected you?

By some fluke this part around the Firth of Forth seems to miss most of these inundations; it tends to be drier - and colder - especially when the easterly breeze comes fresh off the sea...

I have forgotten what the sun looks like.

All hope is pinned on this Saturday which has been promising a cold, clear day of sunshine in the forecast all week.

Now I'm retired I seem to have become a full time dog walker and i can tell you........... I'm sick and tired of the mud! everywhere we go. Poor Twinkle (y'all haven't met her) is pretty sick of getting hosed down each time we get home.
Coop however id looking lovely and still beading up nicely from her pre winter waxing in october She looks really nice in the rain unlike me and Twinkle.

Well well C2D it took bad weather to bring you back out

Retired eh, well if you've still got any film left in that camera take some ace shots of that smart coop of yours and post them in the Calendar 2027 thread, you might end up with one included!

Here in the north east we still go out shopping everyday in our dayglo mankinis and flip-flops.

The rain doesn't bother me, it's better than snow and ice and trying to get around in that or defrosting the car at 2am, after work!

I don't really like the heat or sun, so this cloud and darkness/dullness, etc is great

Today was a dry day with a slight amount of sun and I must admit, it was very nice actually driving on dry roads, without the glare of daylight bouncing back of a wet road, but other than that, this weather suits me just fine

Going to the Mach Loop tomorrow, dropping a couple of the grandsons off to climb the mountain to see the planes, while the middle grandson and I head off to Barmouth for a few hours.

Rather do stuff in low temperatures than 20+ heat

Basically, I love the rain and gloominess

I didn't stay Paul, so couldn't give them a wave With no facilities, it's a bit of a problem for females that need the toilet ( as I found out last year ), so my middle Grandson and I headed off to Barmouth and abandoned the other two Grandsons at the Mach Loop
They saw a couple of Eurofighter Typhoons, but that's it - not much action today
