Haven’t been on the forum much lately lost all interest for several things. Cost was very expensive last year what with mot belts and a load of other things needing done…..£4000 bill. Felt so guilty when my beloved took an interest she nearly fainted. Even when things are going ok a grand yearly still adds up.
So it’s time to say goodbye. Not using the beastie much. I’m 70 now and bad health is creeping up on me. I’m not going to go into too much detail but beginning to be a chore. Never thought it would come to this, so many memories,so many friends still remember Scot 500 when I met everyone for the first time. So many coupe drivers I considered driving buddies.

Coupe has been sold took months in the end I practically gave it away.

Ach Jim that's sad indeed. I'm sure Paul posted a photo of yours perhaps from F/book a month or so ago.
Know what you mean about the maintenance, just had full belt change done plus several other unexpected bits and pieces; more corrosion work to come in the New Year, mainly sills.

We had some great memories of those times up north and on many occasions down in Carlisle. We'll have a toast to you when we go down this year

Don't go away, come on here occasionally and give us some good teuchter wisdom, not that many folk know what the hell I'm talking about

Sad to hear that it has come to this Jim.. I know how you feel and can only say that everything in life is in phases. What appears to be difficult always ends up being not that bad when we have time to absorb and ponder. I wish you all the best and hope that whatever you have decided on only brings you more happiness.
